George Foreman and his son George Foreman III

by hockeyfan1994 » Thu Apr 07, 2011 7:54 pm

George Foreman is in town until Sun promoting his son's fight this Sat. His son is 11-0 with 10 KO's. I pulled up just as their bus was arriving to a pub where they are doing a media press conference. I had enough time to quickly park, grab my stuff and round the corner when I see George Sr. just getting off the bus. I approached him and shook his hand and asked him if he would sign, "Depends on what you got?" he said.

I showed him a professional HBO boxing poster of him and Lou Savarese from the 90's., "I'll sign that", next was the Foreman grill book, "That's easy" he said, next was a 1975 Sports Illistrated cover of him, "Looking good so far." and last was a index card. He posed for a photo with me too. Very nice guy.

I was able to get his son George III to sign an index card and take a photo. I've posted it on my FB page.
