the point of the red carpet is to give press and media outlets time to do one on one interviews promoting the movie with the cast members. its not there for the fans, if it was then do you think we would be across the street behind baracades. the fact that some come over to see us and sign is a added benifit its not something they are beholden to do.

well My friend Michael complains when they dont sign when he used to go to kimmel and also still at other events even though hes gotten them many many times before.
He has gotten ED before as well, so ED does sign

No, i think it you're there and complaining that they didn't sign, you haven't gotten them.. hello! I've never got Ed, I did get Zach once but never Ed... If you actually bothered to read what I wrote I said I needed Ed to COMPLETE my poster...

They are there to do interviews not spend long periods of time signing autographs. they come over when they can but you shouldnt expect them to do so all the time. and the people who usually complain about them not signing have in fact allready gotten them signed at other locations as well.

True. You gotta bare in mind that Zach is EXCELLENT ttm.

Exactly! Celebs know when it comes to premieres their fans will be there. Hotels,airports,etc as you said that is a different story but when you know for a fact fans will be there ignoring them makes you look like a jerk. Angelina huge A-lister signs at her premiere but a second rate star like Ed Helms and Zach can't sign?? Give me a break :roll:

My personal opinion that a celebrity signing autographs at an event when they are promoting something is part of their "job." We as fans support or do not support a person or film, and part of a celebrities job is to greet their public. Now, if it's at a hotel, or private time, I don't blame people for not signing but when they are promoting, that's when they should sign, take photos, etc...

Ed Helms like scowled at the crowd, it's was a tad disconcerting... Especially for someone who really has only had a single popular movie.

Ah well... What can you do right?

Oh, and Liam Neeson is pretty cool actually to fans. he just doesn't sign star wars, or anything "violent" Apparently, The A-Team wasn't that violent to him cause he has not problem signing that stuff lol... I guess the tank blowing half a city block up was a walk in the park... lol... He even signed at the Unknown premiere...
