I met him after a practice when he was still one of the coaches. I heard before that he does not sign much after his retirement. I actually have seen him just dash off and ignore fans who want him to sign. By the way, I gave it a try that day. I waited out there until every player left and fans were gone. And here he came in his car. I thought he would just dash off with his Benz as usual. I held the photo up. After he passed the security, he was going to dash off, but he slowed down and stopped. He rolled the window down.

Mr.francis : This is not supposed to be sold anywhere.
Me : I'm not selling, sir. I'm a fan. You were the best player to me. Too bad you're retired.
Mr.Francis : What's your name?
Me : Nate, sir.

Then he personalized and signed neatly with golden metallic pen. That's pretty cool to me. Later on, I got a pair of his gloves that he used in some games, retirement ceremony, and coaching.
Thank you for checking this post. Thank you Mr.Francis. I appreciate.
