Kristin Chenoweth, American singer and actress ("Wicked," "Pushing Daisies," "GCB," and so many more!)
Okay, this isn't exactly an in-person success, but I didn't know where else to put it. I went to her concert in Nashville, Tennessee, and before the show, I checked out the merchandise table. They were selling signed posters for only $20! I was a little dubious about it at first, thinking that it was probably just a copy of the originally signed poster. But, curiosity got the better of me, so I decided to buy one. My best opportunity to check the authenticity was when the worker laid my poster on the table on top of the display one; the signatures were in slightly different places, and with different marker heaviness (mine is lighter, as though the marker was starting to run out, it gets heavier near the end of the signature, as though she turned the pen). I've decided that it's for real and I'm really excited! I am willing to hear authenticity comments, though. Here is the poster and a closeup of the signature:
Incidentally, I did try to meet her! She's apparently really great to her fans at the stage door after concerts and shows, but unfortunately, she was late for her plane to Chicago and couldn't come to the stage door. There was a big crowd, too, and we were all bummed, but we understood...and how could you be bummed after such an amazing concert?! It was awesome to hear her sing, and come away with an autographed poster! Along with John Williams, Kristin Chenoweth is my musical inspiration, so it's wonderful to be able to add her to my collection (I still plan to try for a personalized one TTM, though!).
