Miami Heat Player Dwyane Wade 9/9/12 - IP

I just got back from a book signing of Miami Heat player Dwyane Wade. I stood in line in the hot Miami sun for about 2 hours until I finally reached him. Like all book signings and conventions it was a fast 5 second thing. You hand the book, he signs and then you take your book back and walks away.

One thing for sure I had a unique experience with him since I picked not to wear any Miami Heat shirts or jerseys. I wore a Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) shirt and noticed him staring at me weirdly. As I walked away thanking him he told me that I needed to go and get/wear a Carnival Cruise Line shirt. I laughed and told him no he needs NCL.

After I left I was still in shock as I wasnt really dressed up. Just in a jeans and a shirt and he noticed/talked to me but yet the groups of girls infront and behind me were all dressed up as they were going to a club and he paid them no attention.

I pre-ordered 2 books and got both signed. Which Im kind of happy that I pre-ordered in advance since the book store it was being held at sold out of the books from all the pre-orders.

Other then that not really much more to say. Like the picture shows the rules of the signing you had to take pictures was you walked the line near him and no personal items would be signed either.
