It has been a while since I met him, but I just wanted to post my thoughts and experience from meeting him. It was January 26, 2012, he was in Toronto to promote "The Woman in Black." I had exams on this day, so I wasn't able to camp outside at the location for numerous hours, but I rushed through my exam and got to the Scotiabank Theatre at 2:00. There was about 30 people in front of me for the line, but the manager of the theatre said he would allow us to be inside where he'll be with the press. At 7:00 he came, it was the most magical thing ever. If I had to choose a happy moment of my life to conjure up a patronus, it would be this moment. He was signing a lot of autographs, and I was lucky enough to get his signature. I remember I told him how he's even better looking in person and he laughed and told me he appreciated that and I thanked him for signing my magazine and he was kind enough to even respond to that thank you while signing autographs and smile and say "not a problem." Unfortunately, when I got home, the signature got smudged a bit, and part of the magazine cover got bent, but I'm still happy. I tried posting a file with this post but it's too big.
