Ring*Con 2012: Sean Astin – Lord of the Rings

Last weekend was Ring*Con, Europe's biggest fantasy convention which takes place in Bonn, Germany.
This was my 4th Ring*Con and it was just amazing! I met a lot of actors, authors and, of course, fans :)

On saturday I met Sean Astin who plays Samwise Gamgee in Lord of the Rings. Unfortunately I haven't seen him on stage because I just had a day ticket and his panels were on the other days, but I had the chance to see him at the autograph session!
It was a curious feeling to stand in front of Sam! He is one of my favourite characters in Lord of the Rings and for me Sam is the real hero of this movie, not Frodo! And Sam always makes me cry.
I wanted to tell Sean Astin so much... but I couldn't. After "nice to meet you" I couldn't say something more because I was totally speechless since the moment he looked up from the picture I gave him to me.
I like the smiley he drew on the picture :)
