After the BAFTA red carpet, I had two thoughts; “argghhh I met Jennifer Lawrence“, and “argghhh I didn’t meet Bradley Cooper". Knowing of an event Bradley was due to be at the following day I thought I’d regret it if I stayed at home. So, after much deliberation in my mind, I went along to the Elle Style Awards, being held at London’s The Savoy hotel. They had only announced one person to be going, Bradley, although each year seemed to get a good turnout. Surely, with him announced, he’d have to do the red carpet? Well, you’d have thought so….
The best thing about the Savoy is it’s (partly) undercover, so despite the rain I managed to stay dry, but VERY cold. After some confusion over who was standing where, arrivals eventually started, but later than I had expected. A few people wouldn't sign (most notable being Kate Hudson), but most irritatingly, BRADLEY DIDN'T DO THE RED CARPET!
But, Chris Tucker was a surprise guest, so I went home happy with a Silver Linings Playbook star, just not the one I expected
I also met people including Samantha Barks, Chloe Moretz, Andrea Riseborough, Juno Temple, Alicia Vikander, Rosamund Pike and Tom Hooper. I've done a write up with pictures here:
