On 6/28/13 I met Taylor Guerrieri and had him sign a few official MLB baseballs. He was the first round draft pick (24th overall) for the Tampa Bay Rays in 2011 and is ranked #39 on MLB.com's Top 100 Prospect list. Last week he was named to the 2013 Futures Game which is an indication that the Rays expect him to be in the majors within the next 2 years or so. He is known for having outstanding control and does not walk many batters. He only walked 10 batters in the first 215 batters he faced this season. Last year was his first year in pro baseball and he did not walk a single right handed hitter. Can't wait to see this guy pitching in the bigs. He was a nice guy and signed for everyone.
