What can I say, other than yesterday marked the start of this year's London Film Festival, which was opened with the European premiere of Captain Phillips. Which meant one of my most wanted actors, Tom Hanks, was in town!
I was VERY lucky to get an autograph from Tom, as he only signed about 20 in total, for a crowd of I'd say 500 or so. But hey, whilst normally I'd complain about a real lack of effort, I won't since I was one of the lucky ones
I also met director Paul Greengrass, Terry Gilliam, Tom's wife Rita Wilson and Downton Abbey creator Julian Fellowes.
