Hmm...Then I don't know. It's a children's book, maybe that's why he was being nice to everyone, but I can't say for sure. All I know Is; he was nice to me and agreed about signing my personal book, so that's all that matters to me. There was another in Atlanta, GA last week, and there's going to be one last signing on 10/26/13 in Los Angeles, CA. Other than these book signings, he never does autograph signings.. But what A-list celebrities do? Lol.

Because he turns up to his own film premieres and doesn't sign, or if he does he signs so few he might as well not bother. Don't get me wrong I'm a big fan of Jim's, but he's hard to get an autograph from IP (so much so I know someone that crossed from the UK to get to one of these booksignings as they'd been trying for near on 20 years to get him and had been refused each time).

Same reasoning as why Tim Burton, Robin Williams, etc... don't sign through the mail. Most people would get an autograph or two and sell one for money, and the star Isn't making anything. They'll most likely sign something If you see them in person, but It's all about right place, right time with IP autographs of A-listers. I was lucky to see he was signing. Spent the $45 bus ticket, took the 5:30am bus to NYC and waited a long time just because I've wanted to see him for years. Maybe you'll get a chance to meet him IP...Good luck.

How Is he not a nice person? He could have been a prick and said no about my other book(considered memorabilia to Barnes and Noble)

He isn't that nice in person, but at a book signing he can't really be horrible!

Traveled all the way to New York City on 10/5/13 to meet Jim Carrey, and get his new book (How Roland Rolls) signed.

Waited from 9:30am all the way until 3pm until I finally got my book signed by him. I bought two books, and asked for my personal autograph book signed, and he was very nice about It, and signed that, too, even though they said no other items to be signed except his book.

Didn't get to talk much since of the big line and everyone else waiting, but I enjoyed meeting him.

Here is a picture of the signed book. He added "Boing" from describing his life in one word.
