So, as you may have seen Davina McCall is doing a mixture of cycling, running and swimming for Sport Relief from Edinburgh to London. She stopped in my hometown of Moffat for a lunchtime refreshment yesterday.
She got off her bike and was helped inside the hotel, as she could hardly walk. After having something to eat and getting a little warmer she came through the foyer where there were a few of us standing to wish her luck, give her support and hopefully get a little autograph. She very kindly signed the few things we had even though she could barely write as she shaking so much. We gave her our donations and she started to cry saying they were the first ones she had been handed in person, I even welled up myself.
For me, this was an amazing day being able to support her and see her in-person achieve something great. She deserves every penny she raises in aid of Sport Relief!
