Don't sent any letters to the Hyatt hotel!
They would never response or give the letter to the celeb you writing to!
I live in Cologne and I know nearly all of the staff members of the hotel just 2 persons are kinda nice.... All the others are damn unfriendly... If you're in Cologne wait in front of the Hyatt and maybe you'll see him he'll be in Cologne until Sunday maybe longer... He will open a movie-fair with Veronica Ferres and Natasja Kinski tomorrow evening...

He was not difficult, he was quite nice and asked for the correct spelling of our names. We did not want to bother him so we made this as short as possible and didn't ask for a photograph (we only had our mobile phones with us - so the quality would have been bad at all)

Today I read that he will be in Cologne until 24th May..

Just 3 hours ago I was along with a friend of mine when we met John Melkovich on his way from the Hyatt Hotel in Cologne to the City on the "Hohenzollernbrücke". He was among a group of some people walking towards the City of Cologne, one of them was Nikolai Kinski, the son of the actor Klaus Kinski (died in 1991 - known for his roleplay as "Nosferatu") and half-brother of Nastassja Kinski, actress.
We did not recignize him first although we passed him by, but when he turned around just without a reason he said that John Malkovich was behind us. We just could not believe it first!

We quickly thought about how to get something to sign when we saw a young girl with a file under her arms. We asked her to give us 2 peaces of paper and borrow a pencil when he was right next to us. We walked towards him and asked him to sign the sheets. He was quite nice and took the time although his people had to wait for him.

Here´s the result.. If someone from Germany / Cologne reads this - we think you´ll probably have success going to the Hotel today or tomorrow and leave a letter for him or even wait until he comes out.

This is really unforgettable!!!
