Hi Kelly,
I talked to some people who were with him before and after the signing. I was told that on the ride to the event site, he was really smug and wouldn't speak to the driver of the car (driver was the owner of the store where the signing took place). I also heard that Kiefer went to a bar after the signing, and he ignored anyone who tried to talk to him. He ended up getting really drunk at the end of the night!

I ABSOLUTELY AGREE Melisssa but for some unknown reason some( very few) on here absolutely dont care if their autographs are authentic. elmomommyto1, a moderator, is proof of that after reading her post. RSVP Made a statement which according to elmomommyto1 according to her post has a right to make his opinion. If you read RSVP's statement he said most which would constitute over 50% of the posts on here. If you actually take the time and read every single post like I have there is no way you can argue that what RSVP stated is indeed accurate. I'm just stating facts. Before you go throwing negatives PM me and I will explain my position further. Like I said in so many words in a previous post the young collectors of today quite frankly DON'T get the help as some of us collectors did 20- 30 years ago. Now if you email OR Write most collectors/dealers who have been in the hobby and have the experience and knowledge your asked for a fee. But there are a very few who do take the time on sites like this who come on here and actually try to help which quite frankly at times I wonder why. Getting the rude negs. etc. But I love the hobby and if getting 100 negs. by other collectors and if there is one young collector out there who actually benefits form a post I made it's well worth it. Being in the hobby as long as I have I actually blame the hobby as a whole for not doing more for the young collectors. To Hell with your fees and remember where you came from unfortunately most have forgotten.

Nice success CDolan02! {up}

I've never really commented before on the real/fake issues on this board but.......... why would someone not want to know if their autograph is real or fake, in my opinion that's kinda "odd." Isn't part of this fun hobby to get the actual actor, actresses, etc... to sign. If it's documented in articles that certain people only send out secretarials why can't people believe that's true. Why would you still send your high quality photo to get signed? Doesn't make a lot of sense to me but who knows...just my opinion. :wink:

Again GREAT success!

However you got my point...

It's not about destroying collector's joy of collecting autographs but about sensitizing and enlighting new collectors about true facts.

Imagine your partner would like to get you an autograph on eBay for your birthday and later finds out that he had paid a high price for a secretarial signature. he wouldn't be very much amused.

When it comes to legal action no one cares if you didn't know in advance that you sold a secretarial signature and described it as "authentic".

That's why it is so important to enlighten collectors about the signing habits of celebrities.

And I still have my opinion that if anyone believes everything to be 100% authentic from what he/she gets back TTM, then he/she is a dreamer and not even 1.000.000 signature studies would help in such a case.

My opinion has got nothing to do with disrespect as you might know that I'll gladly enlighten any new collector. But we do also have some unconvincable people on this board who simply do not want to accept the truth and the facts.

Btw, it doesn't feel it was too long ago your signature counter showed "2 weeks along"! ;)
:lol: Actually I started it at 3 weeks I think. I found out on my husband's and my 9th anniversary of dating :D. The whole process of 9 months takes way too long for me though :wink:. On the upside, at least I only have another 15 weeks at most {up} :D {up}!!!

More experienced collectors are very knowledgable that not all autographs that come through the mail are genuine. So I'm simply asking for everyone to respect all other members and their rights to their own opinions.
I totally agree with that! :)
