Washington Nationals ip recap

by Chasetheautographwiz » Tue Aug 04, 2015 4:48 am

Soooo..today (8/3/15) I did the Washington Nationals. It was a big bummer but that in part is blamed on the fact you can't go down to infield seating for autographs until 1.5 hours before the game. To start my chances at autographs were bad because the Nationals didn't take batting practice. So, I waited. While waiting the GM Mike Rizzo signed autographs which I didn't want and I thought it was ridiculous that people wanted him so bad. After that a player I didn't recognize signed for 2 little kids ignored me and left, also by the way I just turned 15 years old. After that we waited and saw the players come out to warm up. Ian Desmond just waved and something peculiar happened. After Bryce Harper finished stretching he came over and signed autographs. At the start of the first base line. Believe me I got my ball and my pen in perfect position but he just wouldn't take my baseball. After signing about 5-8 autographs he left, and my ball had no autographs on it. So overall you probably want to do more than one day and go for a certain player which surprisingly works a little better. Hopefully I do better next time.
