WW2 Lancaster bomber Veterans

by The_Terrible_Toad_King » Sun Sep 24, 2006 6:34 pm

Went to the battle of britain memorial flight today at Connisbrough. Anyways war veteran James Douglas Hudson was there signing copies of his new book. I got his autograph on the event programme, as did my mate and his gran bought his book and got it signed.
He was the Navigator in a Lancaster Bomber....I may be wrong but I think he was part of the Dambusters.
Also there was war veteran Colin Cole who was a gunner (I think) on a Lancaster bomber. I got his autograph on a nice photo of a Lanc.
