Those are actually amazing amounts of time! I do some IP's at premieres in America, and yes Tom will do an hour or two, but everyone else is a few minutes max. Every premiere I've ever gone to or heard about in America, other than a few like Tom, Will Smith, or Angelina and Brad, the max time spent signing autographs is maybe 3-5 minutes, and that's often with their publicists trying to pull them away the whole time. Often, security tries to get the celebs not to sign or go greet fans. (I don't know how it is in other countries, but in the US, the fans are usually across the street or somewhere off to the side away from the red carpet.) It always amazes me to see pictures and videos of celebrities spending so much time greeting fans in other countries, so I wouldn't call 5 minutes "pathetic." I'd probably call it pretty amazing that 5 minutes is the minimum for the celebs you've seen. Congrats!

keira knightley: 1 hour
