I met some great celebrities today!

Today I went to the Memorabilia show at Birmingham NEC and met four great celebrities!

First I met the LEGEND Leslie Philipps who was an absolute diamond! He signed a photo for me and happily posed for a photo free of charge! (Others were charging £10 just to have your photo taken with them!!) He's a kind and friendly man considering he's such a big star! http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x118 ... ure088.jpg

Next I met Mark Wingett who was in The Bill for lord knows how many years and also played Dawn's dad in Eastenders. He was charming! I was soooo star struck when I met him as he's been on my TV for as long as I can remember. He signed and also posed for a photo free of charge. http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x118 ... ure089.jpg

Then I met Phil Daniels who was sitting next to Mark Wingett as they were in the movie Quadrophenia together. Phil was fab! Really chatty and kind. He signed a Chicken Run photo for me and joked that he'd spent ages in make-up to become "Fetcher" lol! http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x118 ... ure090.jpg

Finally I met Barrie Ingham. I'm ashamed to say I nearly didn't bother getting his autograph as I was queuing to get Mick Foley's but the staff around him were awful! I climbed over the barrier to escape Mick's queue and ended up opposite Mr Ingham. I purchased a "Basil of Baker Street" photo which he signed. He also posed for 2 photo's free of charge and stood and chatted with me for ages. He was so lovely! He even hung around to make sure the photo's turned out ok on my digicam! - http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x118 ... ure092.jpg
