I ended up meeting Tarisai Vushe, one of the top 12 contestants from Australian Idol from 2007, on NYE.

My mates and I ended up getting to the Opera House at 12:30pm and waited in the scorching sun (I'm badly burnt now :mad: ) in front of the stage where the sound system was operating for the fireworks.

Many celebrities arrived as we hit the night such as Gretal Killeen, the top 12 Idols for 07, Clover Moore, Natalie Gauci and many more... We also ended up on national TV behind Angela Bishop (who also came to my school) who was doing the weather there.

Anyway, back to Tarisai. She came over to us while gettin prepared to go on stage and only signed a few autographs and posed for pictures. She was really nice though and luckily, I ended up getting both with her. I didn't have anything for her to sign so the girl next to me tore a page from the NYE booklet 8)
