Congrats! I'd love to have my
Life on Mars guidebook signed by Dean Andrews too. And, yay, John Hurt!
Coincidentally, I was spending that weekend in London, lol. I wasn't planning on going to the BAFTAs, but my friend and I decided to check the Afterparty just to see if we could spot John Simm (and his beard), haha. I wasn't expecting anything, but brought a couple of things with me, just in case. Most people didn't stop to sign, probably because it was freezing, raining and they were already tired. But we took some photos and talked to some of them.
Surprisingly, John Simm did sign my
Crime & Punishment DVD cover for me
It was the most unexpected amazing surprise, especially since my birthday was due in a few days. Absolutely lovely
Marc Munden (director of
The Mark of Cain) also signed my
Miranda DVD cover and chatted a bit with us, which made me über happy too, since I'm a big fan. So all in all, I had 100% success, lol.
