Very nice!

His opening lines on 'Full Metal Jacket' make up the greatest movie quote ever! Nice little introduction to the rookies!

I met Mr. Ermey at the NRA convention in Lousiville, KY a few weekends ago (May 17th). He's mosty famous for portraying Gunnery Sgt Hartman in "Full Metal Jacket". But has also been in films like "Saving Silverman", "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" (as Sheriff Hoyt), and voices for the "Toy Story" and "Toy Soldiers" and many more shows and films. He's also the host of "Mail Call" on the History Channel. http://www.imdb.com it tells a lot about the stuff he has done if you look him up.
Not only did he sign a photo for me, he also posed for one with me. And he also "coined" me (a tradition in the military for doing a good job) with his official coin when I told him that I was a veteran and still serving in the military. Of course he has been to some of the places I was stationed when he goes over and visits the troops, but I never had the chance to me him when he was over. Now I did! (in a much nicer environment I might add!)
