The autograph is real. I have a few Eddie Izzard autographs and they all match this one. Plus- several others posted on this board match this one.

Dont know what his signature looks like so cant tell you if it is authentic but probably is - one of the experts maybe able to help you out.

Hi Everyone!

Last night my wife and I went to see Eddie Izzard in Tampa, Florida.

After the show he came into the lobby to talk to everyone- but he said he won't sign autographs because there were way too many people and if he started signing- he would be stuck there forever and he had to leave soon. I know it sounds like a lame excuse from him- but I kind of understood- there were A LOT of people!! Probably like 100!!! Plus he just finished doing a 2+ hour show- so I can understand he was tired and just wanted to leave. He did mention that he signs a bunch of photos before each show that we could get from one of his people. He joked saying he has little old ladies backstage sign his signature on the photos- but then swears that he signs everyone himself.

I got one of the photos and posted it below. So I guess it's "sorta" a success?
