Just wanted to react to this part...
If I send out pictures to be signed through the mail I don't pay extra for tracking, but I can still get a RTS ...
so that comment doesn't make any sense...
What I meant is not that an untracked piece of mail cannot be RTSed, but that you would not be able to know that it's being RTSed. The seller claimed that she contacted the post office and they told her that it was being RTSed. It wouldn't be possible to know that if the mail was not tracked.

I'm not in the theater scene. I hope it works out for you though whether it's Paypal or the police, scammers suck.

To the OP I just say this, we have saying here in belgium and roughly translated it says 'a donkey doesn't hit his feet twice at the same stone...' I don't know if that saying exists any where else but its just when you get scammed once by someone, you don't get fooled a second time...
I don't understand why you even paid extra? The seller should have offered to resend it no charge... I would have done that

If you had read what i SAID..regarding RTS yes if u send something and put a RTS address yes it can be returned no one said it wouldnt i said that when a Item gets RTS it has a sticker from the postal service on the front explaining the REASON it was RTS in this case she said there was NO reason.

I paid the second for recd delivery because i was trusting this person and taking her word but i can see now i was stupid to do so and yes your correct on the last part of your posting.

Thanks 4 this Phil. she has said things that DON'T Add up 2 me my friend!! She says she had 2 go away and can't send it till next Friday where she going sumwhere without a Post Office? If she did send it next week thats 2months since i paid she has had $13 out off me now.
I have given her till sunday lunchtime to refund me or i will look at going 2 the Police and report it as online fraud.

I also feel Fanmail should ban her from on ere or selling at least!! When i sell a autograph as soon as i get payment it goes out to the seller by the next day they wait a few days not 2mths

But it's weird, that I had the same problem with Sue. I mean, I bought her autograph and sent the money. Never got the autograph (she sent it out she said) and she states that she never got the money... I don't believe that.
I've never had those problems and did some trades and purchases in the past successfully...
Sue is a very bad seller!!!! Keep away from her!!!

Sounds a little dodgy to me, I hope that you do get your autograph Simon.

With the whole 'seller responsible thing'.... I think that seller's should offer a choice to the Buyer if they'd like to purchase insusrance for their goods, but they can't really be responsible for things that do get lost or stolen in the mail, it's entirely out of their control once they've left it for the Post Office to deal with. But like I said they should offer insurance if the Buyer is willing to pay the extra to make sure it gets there.

I wouldn't like to be held resposible if something I sold was lost or stolen, but I would also state that when selling, and a choice of insurance given.

That's my thoughts :)

Good luck Simon, hope it runs smoothly eventually!
