And yes, I agree, Markd will hardly get the prices he's asking for as these are dealer prices. But even if he'd do the usual 50% off dealer prices, people on here would still be saying that these prices are too high. Like dancingirl1 mentioned before, no one has have to buy it for the asking price and if people prefer to add another eBay fake for a tenner to their collection, it's up to them
Thats right indeed :) Maybe if the OP wuld lower his starting prices a bit people would be more open to buying them ....

And please don't generalize everyone on this forum... ofcourse we know some autographs don't go for a 'tenner' like you say... we KNOW that... You're being condescending because you have more experience then some, which you have, but you have to let people start somewhere...It's a hobby not a competition...
No one has ever started a discussion. ;-)
I was actually referring to the stupid post made by joe316

Oh, and it's by far not just a few people on here who think they can get everything for a fiver or tenner. Just this morning I received another PM in which the potential buyer of some of my Formula 1 autographs replied he could get all these autographs for less than 10.00 Euro off eBay. Well, if he wants to spent that money on those really bad fakes by low-level forgers on eBay, I won't stand in his way. ;-)

Nice collection but I agree with dancingirl1 that prices are a bit high... especially the carly rae jepsen.. she sells authentic autographs on her official website for way way way less ...

Good luck selling!
Markd, I'm totally with you when it comes to your asking prices. I'm an in-person collector myself for 20 years now and know a) how these prices develop and b) how much time & effort it takes sometime to get a single item signed.

However, people on this forum will never understand that they won't get a Mikhail Gorbachev or a B.B. King for a tenner.

The prices are a little high, but then again I don't have to buy it. So there is no hair off of my head. {up} Good luck on selling these though =/

Just today someone asked me for prices of two doubles I'm selling. Both would've been 138.00 Euros and he replied "Would you drop the prices to about 40 euros? If not would you do 40 euros and some English stamps?" When this is said by a 12-year old school kid who has no experience, I can live with it and will give him some lessons regarding the value of certain autographs. But when this is said by an adult, I'm laughing out loud and let him buy one of the countless forgeries on eBay for 20.00 - 40.00 Euros. I'm all open for bargaining, but people should at least come up with a reasonable & serious offer!

By the way, have a look at my current list: viewtopic.php?f=127&t=250398
I'll be adding more new arrivals this weekend (Joan Baez, Ornella Muti, Jimmy Cobb, Billy Idol, George Benson, Bud Spencer, Al Foster, Katie Melua, Boris Becker).

Well I also have photos of either me with the celebrity or photos of the celebrity signing the autograph.

As for the prices, I've done quite a bit of research and these are what they go for. This is not the first place I posted my photos and so I have already sold a Carly Rae autograph for $60 and 2 Michael Keaton's for $125 each. This photo is just not quite as nice as the others so I have chosen to list it for a discounted price.

Unless you know what you're talking about, please do not post.
