I purchased a Katharine Hepburn letter years ago--doesn't mean Katharine wrote it for me. It's a success in the sense that you got it. Nothing else. This message board is for people who mailed in a photo and the person ACTUALLY SIGNED THEIR PHOTO (or sent a PP or pre-signed etc at any rate, the LIVING person did something with their request) I also have to give an eye roll to your comment about it now being hard to get her signature "since she died in 2012." I've been trying to get Judy Garland's signature but it's been rather difficult--I feel her death in 1969 has something to do with it.
