I am a fundraiser for our Local Community Action Agency. What the agency does through out the year helps families in the Southern Missouri area with their utiliy bills, fans during the summer, a/c's for the elderly & ill, & school supplies for the up coming year for the children. We furnish about 250 - 275 children from 4 yr old program (headstart) to high school. I have been sending out letters requesting autographed items to give to the children as door prizes & have had pretty good luck.
In the letters we have specifically said NO tickets, as if they can NOT afford school supplies they surely are going to be unable to visit a game.
I have been given a SPECIAL "VIP" PASS from Dr. Phil & Wheel of Fortune.
ANYONE INTERESTED ????????
I was also sent 2 tickets to the PITTSBURG PIRATES GAME. These items have been on ebay & UNSOLD.
