Ive sent cheap balls for years... If you take a Mr Clean magic rub earser to it before you send it, it actually holds well!! I use it on almost everything I mail out now. Ive had buck luck with official balls... They seem to smear!! :(

Agreed. It's more money on the front end, but well worth it when it comes to having your autograph last.

You're not going to be happy in 10 to 12 months when that autograph has faded to invisible. Those cheap China balls are made with inferior coverings and they don't hold the autograph. You should only use genuine ROMLB balls.

Very happy with this success. I had sent a ball to the MLB corporate offices last March & had completely written it off as a failure.
