Seems like I'm updating the signed photos I post on Facebook with RIP a lot lately

Anyone else get kinda depressed when someone you got through TTM dies? I know I do.

He use to sign (back in the early 90s I got a signed photo) I think years before he died he retired from answering fan mail. Some celebrities do that (retire from answering mail) I lucked out and got Ringo Starr a year before he stopped. It's all timing, yeah Shatner charges $50 for a signed photo(if you join is fan club on his web page), Patrick Stewart signed about 5 pics for me (he is always cool w/fans about that). I also got Nichelle Nichols and George Takei.

His last convention was Chicago. He made a farewell speech and everything.

You can buy signed photography books from R. Michelson Galleries. They aren't exactly cheap, but if you're thinking of paying anyway...

I saw Mr. Nimoy at an Orlando convention about a year and a half ago where he was charging $150, and he was telling people that it was going to be one of the last conventions he planned on attending.
