hi :) congrats on your success :) Dakota is amazing :D I also started collecting when I was younger and I used to send scrapbook pages to celebrities to sign which I had made myself, when I sent to Dakota and Elle I just sent them the scrapbook page and they also sent their own picture back, I used to send the scrapbook page as I had no knowledge of where to get better images from, looking back on it now I am so grateful that they sent their own image aswell because as much as i like my scrapbook pages I like to have a photo of good quality with my autographs aswell. I do still love my scrapbook pages and I still send them out with a Q&A on the back with every request I send as this is what I love to request, however I also print photos and send them aswell so I can display them on my wall and I really do love the photos. If you love doing what your doing don't change it but I would recommend continueing to send your pictures but maybe also a piece of card or a photo aswell as :)
here is a picture of the scrapbook pages I send

There is a difference between profit and value. One day when jpjkjf grows up, has kids and leaves her collection to them I'm sure they would appreciate a collection that is worth something as opposed to one that is worth next to nothing. Of course jpjkjf should do what she likes but tastes do change and I would be surprised if she in 10 years she didn't wish that he had used better quality materials. I'm just saying. Regardless, nice success jpjkjf.

I print out 4x6 s on a photo printer......for some of mine so I can use a smaller envelope and pay less shipping. But then alot of times later I am sorry when I get a really good autograph that its not on a 5x7 or 8x10. Especially with sports stars that charge for their autograph. I will not pay 30$ or more to get a 4x6 signed....Even if it is Stan Musial or who ever.....

Thanks for the tip. But I like making my own photos, it shows them that i put time and effort into making them. And the folds give it it's look that I like.
I think you will thank yourself in a few years when you get older if you start sending out nicer quality images or simply smaller ones. I collect autographs for myself because I think it's fun. I've been doing it for 3 years or so and have never said "this photo looks too good". In fact I have some photos that came out pixelated and I've wished that I had sent out a better quality image. It's cool that you like it like this now but just think about your future self is all I am saying.
I don't really mind if its pixleated or whatever. I the autograph is what I really like. I like what I do and I will continue doing that. But thank you again.

I like how much her autograph has evolved! I wrote her a letter years ago, and it says Dakota Fanning age 11 lol. I was gonna bring it with me to have her sign it again now when I met her, but I totally forgot...
