On 10-31-12 I sent a printed out picture, index card and SASE to former Boston College hockey forward Matt Price, and today I received my picture back signed, along with a picture of his own and a note he included. He won two NCAA hockey championships (2008,2010) with the Eagles. (I want to be a sports writer when I grow up so that will explain parts of this note).

Thanks for your kind note and support of BC hockey. I feel very fortunate to have played under Jerry York and in front of great fans like yourself. Good luck with your future endeavors and I hope to see you writing for ESPN or the Boston Globe in the near future. Your hard work will pay off."
