It's implied that they want to know when they post it on an AUTOGRAPH COLLECTING forum. Don't want any opinions? Keep the success to yourself. Simple. {up}

I always find if you're going to join a board and complain about other people being rude, it's best not to use language which the censor catches ;) That said, I still don't see that the poster who made the initial comment was being rude. They explained why and how it isn't real, and presented it sensibly. You can think it's a "jerk move" if you want, but I bet you would feel differently if you happened to buy a "genuine" signature of Keira from someone, and then found out it was a PP because no one told the original seller. Once again, if you post something on a forum, then you open yourself up for comments, be it positive or negative. Those people who post things like "don't comment, I choose to live on a happy clappy cloud" would benefit from taking a more sensible approach, as I just don't see why people would not want to know that they have a fake. Ultimately, if you don't want people to comment, then don't post it online.

Charitystardonations... you should be aware more than most how important authenticity is, and I would have thought you as someone who wants to sell items would be more than interested in what is real and what is not. Regarding your KK response, charity letters get a MUCH better reception than fan letters, so yes there are occasions of real ones coming out, but I don't think you need to be a genius to figure out why that is.

Jen... this site is dross compared to what it used to be, I come on for the few decent posters and to see what is happening, but when it comes down to it, as long as people believe fakes are real etc, posts will be made. Look through recent feedback, people don't even understand that "happy new year" or "fave success" posts belong in other forums than feedback, so you've no chance of blocking petty bickering. I also didn't think the responder point this out was out of line, perfectly well mannered. If people don't ask before writing, or do their research, then they'll be told when they post feedback.

Such is life, I still get gutted when I get fakes, but I appreciate on the very few that I miss, that I can rely on people to present evidence to let me know. There are also plenty of fools on here who post incorrectly and claim all sorts of things about authentic signatures, so it works both ways.

Sorry to the OP, but it is indeed a preprint. If you tilt it under light, you'll see that the light does not "bounce" off the signature, meaning it is part of the actual photo print.

The amount of times I see pointless and petty bickering on these boards is outrageous.
If someone wants to believe it's authentic let them, fair enough, warning other that the signature is a fake before they send off, but it could be done it a much better manner.
We are a group of people who all share an interest, collecting autographs.
Despite the authenticity or not, we could actually try to be decent to one another.
Where is it going to get you being forceful and rude?

DO YOU FEEL GOOD ABOUT YOURSELF?

The real world and life is full of disappointment.

Better to know the truth than to live in LaLa Land.
