I sent mine out on 2/12/2013 from Ohio. I had the same issue with you. Luckily I play a online video game and have made friends with some people who live in the uk so they send me stamps for free :) Only other thing I can suggest is going on to royal mails website and purchasing stamps from them. Hope this helps
