Well, looks like I was one of the unlucky ones who isn't even going to get an auto pen response. Pretty pissed about this. I even sent a nice poster.

I was lucky enough to get 2 of the same autopen pattern on 2/3 of my items(lucky, huh?) Otherwise it would have tricked me as well at first. As is I noticed right away.

Chase even said on his facebook he didnt like fanmail, and in person hes known to taunt fans about ebay and accuse them of selling things and often will personally insult his fans or ignore them.

Theres also a gawker dedicated to how difficult he is with his co workers... It seems Chase is just an unappriciative man in general.

Ah well, us true FANS and autograph seekers are just lucky there are so many awesome celebrities out there willing to sign authentically.
I totally agree, I'm happy that there are "Real Celebrities" that are willing to sign for their dedicated fans, unlike some washed has been that is unappreciative of his true fans. Last time I checked Ebay, signed Gandalf Photos and Signed Mandarin Photos (Ben Kingsley) are going for wayyy more then a Chevy Chase autograph, not that I buy or sell them. He should be happy that he still has fans that want to connect with him. Anyhow, I'm happy with my REAL A-lister autographs (Ian Mckellen, Ben Kingsley and Kevin Bacon) and now could careless for someone who isnt even in the same league as these actors.

Final Word: 5 Different Autopens for Fanmail= No Love for his Fans.

Got the same 3 autopen signatures on 4/15/13, total epic failure as I try to avoid AP/PP celebrities. Kind a bugs me that he would actually go through all the trouble to make 3 different autopen's to (in my opinion) fool autograph seekers. Sure, some of the people that ask for autographs are dealers, but many like myself are actual fans and would treasure a genuine autograph. Think I'm going to throw my Lampoon Vacation, Christmas Vacation and Memoirs of an Invisible Man into the Trash. He's a has been anyway, I give much props and respect to Ian Mckellen and Ben Kingsley that knows how to treat their fans, I'm happy I got their autograph. Anyone else upset at these autopen returns?

I had sticky notes on my items with a name on each, one for me and one for my fiance. They still came back autopenned.

Mike I wouldnt waste my stamps again on Chevy as your DVD will likely be ruined with an AP signature with a sec inscription. I would suggest writing someone who signs, but its up to you. Hope you have the best of luck either way.

No, that was my next course of action. Was thinking about sending a vacation DVD slipcover. I'll ask for personalization.
I sent a large Christmas Vacation poster with postage to return included. I asked him to inscribe it "can't see the lines David". So either the trouble with the poster tube was an issue or the inscribing was my problem. Bummer.
