I was lucky enough to get 2 of the same autopen pattern on 2/3 of my items(lucky, huh?) Otherwise it would have tricked me as well at first. As is I noticed right away.
Chase even said on his facebook he didnt like fanmail, and in person hes known to taunt fans about ebay and accuse them of selling things and often will personally insult his fans or ignore them.
Theres also a gawker dedicated to how difficult he is with his co workers... It seems Chase is just an unappriciative man in general.
Ah well, us true FANS and autograph seekers are just lucky there are so many awesome celebrities out there willing to sign authentically.
I totally agree, I'm happy that there are "Real Celebrities" that are willing to sign for their dedicated fans, unlike some washed has been that is unappreciative of his true fans. Last time I checked Ebay, signed Gandalf Photos and Signed Mandarin Photos (Ben Kingsley) are going for wayyy more then a Chevy Chase autograph, not that I buy or sell them. He should be happy that he still has fans that want to connect with him. Anyhow, I'm happy with my REAL A-lister autographs (Ian Mckellen, Ben Kingsley and Kevin Bacon) and now could careless for someone who isnt even in the same league as these actors.
Final Word: 5 Different Autopens for Fanmail= No Love for his Fans.
