No, that's not true.
Channing was doing his fanmail up until two years ago. His mother sorted his mail and he signed the pictures.
Since 2011 his mother is signing the stuff in almost all cases. In some very, very rar cases she's just writing the inscripition and Channing signs with his signature.
If you try to compare both signatures (the ones done by his mother and the ones done by himself) you will see some important differences. His mother always writes very small and neat. In comparison to that the writing of Channing is much more bigger and makes some noticeable differences.
Conclusion: The inscription of those "successes" is almost 100% secretarial and done by his mom. In maybe 1 or 2 % of the successes at least the autograph of Channing is authentic. Not very much, heh...
