I wouldn't say toss it into the garbage because Ronald Reagan gave hundreds of these out when he was in office. It may not be worth anything to you however it means a lot to me. Besides being a sitting Secretary of State is the same as being the sitting President of the United States because they have no time to sign autographs so they send PP photo's and note cards.

Better off just tossing it into the garbage. If it's not real then it's worthless to keep.

Really? Us autograph collectors are owed nothing by anyone, regardless whether they're part of the government or not. These people have EXTREMELY busy lives.. so to say "insulted" and a "hand signed photo is in order" is just ridiculous and selfish.
Okay, first off I'm joking! Secondly, unless you're a public servant, you have no clue what the 'Sec' of States schedule is like. You autograph collectors, hilarious! Yes, I think public servants, 'our employees' should respond to our request. They certainly have time for lobbyists with money after all.
Actually, I'm a political science major, pal.. I'm pretty sure it's more important to handle affairs that affect this country rather than autograph requests, especially with the revolution going on in Egypt, a possible terrorist attack looming from al-Qaeda, and you're worried about signing autographs because we pay tax dollars. You're hilarious. A secretary of state isn't a desk job and it's far from it. You travel to a TON of different countries. It's an international job.

I apologize Michaelwsnyder. I thought you meant to say that one of his assistants signed the note card. Now I know you said "sec" meaning Secretary of State not a secretary signed photo.

kgcautographs wrote:You are exactlly right Michaelwsnyder, I did request a photo as well and that was all I got. It wasn't even a sec it was PP of his signature. Even when Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State I got an AP photo and a note card. I'll try again in a few months but now I doubt I'll ever get a signed photo of John Kerry ever again because he is SOS, maybe just a AP photo next time. Even when he was Senator his office sent out AP's but never real hand signed photo.

Also, I looked at the signature and it is a printed out signature not a sec.
But it is a Sec sig, and preprint all in one. Sec of state that is! :) good luck!
