Yeah, As far as pictures go, I like to just pull up a good pic from google images and then print it at any photo machine ie CVS Walmart ect..
I print them at 4x6 and they fit perfect into a standard #10 envelope. Hope that's helpful!

Good to know - I was considering trying to get his signature since I loved The Greatest American Hero.

I'm new to getting autographs but I just got one from Lynnette Mettey through the mail - I wrote a one paragraph letter and sent a SASE but no pictures since I could not find any. She sent me TWO pics signed - one with just her name but the other was personalized. She hasn't been in anything for a very long time, even longer than Katt, so not sure if that is the reason. Maybe she liked me saying she how sexy I thought she was back in the day.

Anyway, too bad about Katt. He'd be a great person to have a sig from.

Makes sense, I always write my letters short and sweet and they are all directed to whom I'm writing, no form type letters, but yeah asking for the, to personalize them is a good idea! I used the address here in the database. Sorry I didn't respond in so long...

Wow! He only charged $25.00 at Days of the Dead a couple years ago...and that included the picture and a photograph with him.

As for William katt charging I am a bit surprised considering if you look at his imdb he has continued to work and I know he hasn't been in anything big in awhile but $40.00 is double what most b rated celebrities ask and they are at the high end. I thought he was great as the greatest American hero and I liked him in the original carrie and house the movie not the tv show lol

Wrong. Depending on who it is made out to, stuff like that sells on eBay. And there are those who are of the mind that if it in inscribed it is less likely to be an autopen or otherwise fake than items with just their signature.
But he is right the reality is autographs that are personalized do not sell for very much money because even though it makes them more likely to be authentic people just don't want an autograph that's made out to someone else, I know I wouldn't.

I don't blame anyone for trying to make a little money for their autograph (I don't believe the "if it weren't for fans, where would they be") but $40 ttm is definitely too much. $40 in-person is even a little much especially for someone who hasn't done anything big for 20+ years.
His mother was a very good ttm signer though I haven't heard much from her in the last few years.

Katt will sign. He signed for me. I wrote him a page length letter, explained I was a fan and why. Sent him two photos which he signed. I also sent him a photocopy of another Katt autograph I own, and asked him to confirm it's authenticity - he signed that one as well and wrote me a brief note in response to my letter. Really nice guy.

Don't use a form letter and just change the name. Personalize it. Write from the heart. And ask him to dedicate your dvd cover "To name"
