Anyone new to the arena of auto collecting should, mostly, appreciate those who pass on their wisdom regarding authenticity. There are, however, one or two here that seem to get a perverse kick out of the fake claims...made worse when the poster making the claim just does not have a clue (as in the poster who exclaimed my Maggie Smith to be a sec!). Even though I have been collecting since the late 1970s (beginning with the wonderful cast of Blake's 7), I am not too proud to hold my hands up and agree if there are solid grounds as to one of my auto's authenticity (such as my NASA ones and Andy Garcia). A little common sense and listening to the more sage (as in not clueless or rude) goes a long way with this hobby.

Did I say anything about your Whitney photo? Nope. I said it was "beautiful" so why are you complaining again? LOL. You only paid 5.99 euros for it. If you want my input, it's not real. She has passed on and no one would sell her for so cheap. Also I didn't say there was anything wrong with a PP, BUT I like real items, not fake ones. And IDC if no one likes a "smartie pants." Being that this is a forum, I will post opinions and etc if I want to. (JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE DOES, so being that they do it, I WILL TOO. Deal.)
Whitney goes for about a grand on ebay so the fakeness is blatant
What marks people out in this game is not those who make authenticity mistakes, but those who are willing to discuss potential authenticity issues and realise it might not be the real deal, and those who just say "it's real" because they can't admit the mistake.

A signed Whitney for under a fiver being real? I would think there's a few hints there.

There is a simple way to end this argument which newbies seem to have, with one sentence:

"If it is not signed by the celebrity you wrote to it is not authentic, not a success, not anything"

Okay I have answered like 30 (about this hobby) of your private messages. A beginner doesn't send a collecting veteran like 15 PM's with like 40 different celebs asking "what do they send....." I was glad to help you (LIKE I ALREADY SAID. Also did I or did I not answer EVERY single celeb on your list...? I did!), but don't try to make me look foolish in front of the members when you wanted to send me a list in PRIVATE.

By the way, if you were collecting for "YEARS", you wouldn't have 170.
I have been collecting for years and I have about 675..ish.

Never bite the hand that feeds you. Now you p*ssed me off. {up}
lmao!!!!!
I started in July I have around 165. Granted I have bought a lot from Ebay and Amazon and some very nice people on here. My goal is to enjoy this hobby AND get 100% legit autographs. Years and 170 doesn't mesh.
