I must report that Jack Dittmer passed away yesterday after a battle with his health. He was a great man here in the state of Iowa as he was a multiple sports star in both at Elkader High School and at the University of Iowa, earning countless Letters. He was great to his friends and fans most of all. He enjoyed receiving autograph request and would sign for anyone. PLEASE, If you are one who has sent to the Elkader address for an autograph, do the right thing and send his family a card in this time of sorrow. He was good to us, now lets be good to his family in honor of him. The address is below for your use. Thank You.
