While he was signing your letter there were about 30 people outside sleeping on the sidewalk for days that he didn't even wave to. You got very lucky my friend. There were guys who flew in from new York and slept on the sidewalk for over a week and he didn't sign for them, just drove right by... I was there and was sad

My opinion , that's one of the best autographs you can get and the best success story on this site

Well this year being it is his last season, I saw via Twitter he had been working out at the Himes Minor League complex for a few weeks prior to having to report to GMS Field. So I went out on a whim and sent him a LOR, SASE, and 1 card. FINALLY after 7 years of trying I got MY card in the mail yesterday and sure enough it was autographed by Jeter! Knowing he was one of the only Yankees there, there isn't a auto pen available there, and I'm positive he didn't get much if any fan mail there, it makes sense that this is legit. This is my first post on this website so I figured I'd make it a good one! :) Super stoked about it! Sent it out on 2/10/14, received it back 2/18/14.

Like I said it has been years of trying to get Jeter's TTM and I am pretty sure I might have been the only one who sent it to the Himes Minor League Complex where he'd been working out. I did have a pretty heartfelt letter included with it which may have something to do with it, but either way I am excited about it. Congrats on the letter you received as well even thought it wasn't what you were expecting back.

I'll get a picture of the envelope uploaded when I get home.

I heard he is retiring soon. Not a big Baseball fan, but I know he was and is a legend
