Back in January 2014, before Juan Mata officially signed for United, I decided to write a letter to him at Carrington training ground (address in system) in hope he'd sign and I'd be one of the first to be sent a club card.
After 2 months, in March, I decided I'd try again as I didn't receive anything, so sent another letter, another SASE and hoped. But again nothing.
At the end of August, I then wrote to him for a third time as I was writing to players for the new season and this morning, to my surprise, I found 3 hand signed club cards from Juan Mata in 3 seperate envelopes all with the dates in the bottom right corner to show me when I sent off to him.
Very happy with this - means I can have one, send one to my Dad and find another mate to give the third to!
