I have an autograph from Maureen O'Hara at 90 and the signature is big and very beautiful. I also have a signature from her at 93 after she became frail and it's much smaller and slightly messy. In fact, Maureen looked at it and said, "it looks like I signed it in a car!" Age means nothing. Joan Fontaine still signed very well and nice in her old age.

It amazes me that people would rather believe that there's this HUGE conspiracy surrounding Doris and will just blatantly deny facts. The professionals are wrong, in person successes are wrong, the signature in her official brochures is wrong, and even videos are wrong--but they're right! Of course them, and the National Enquirer.

When I had written Doris, I sent two photos and received one back with a typed note that said due to her mail volume she'll only sign one--why send that if the sec is doing it?

I've seen some of the autographed scripts Doris has put on E-Bay to bring in money for her foundation. The autograph looks pretty identical to the one I have from her. The bids for one of her scripts is around $300 so far. If I was going to pay that amount or more for her script and autograph, it better be real.

It is also not Doris days ip signature it has been proven many times and years over. no point arguing tho as I will never able to prove it but it's pretty obvious to me.
The age doesn't matter. If you are healthy you can write well.
And people signature change over the years
Look at Mary Costa signature. 90 years old also and writes better than anyone.. next.

BS18 wrote:I don't know how this rumor of her using a sec has started but there's not proof. There's not a single piece of evidence that she is not signing her mail.

There's a topic on here which someone met her and she signed 3 album covers which match her TTM's. Her animal foundation action off signed items for charity, which the signatures match. Which is more likely? A 90 year old woman who seems like a loving person signs or own mail or her and her animal foundation staff is scamming people with fake autographs?

The only people that say it's fake are the people that keep reading "Fake!" on every doris day topic and once a false statement repeats itself for years and years..it becomes a "Fact"

If someone is going to say it's fake, show some evidence and...no the "loopy "D's" don't count.
Exactly. And some people claims that she has dementia, she's insane, she don't uses the Doris Day name anymore and now arthritis?
