Wrote to Ms Malone about 7 months ago and on 17 May got a reply.. My pictures came back unsigned along with a note from her daughter (Mimi Bergerac Vanderstraaten) saying her Mother can no longer sign due to her age, 93.. nice note also saying that Ms Malone enjoys hearing from fans.. Included with the note was a card that had a facsimile of her autograph with a saying "May God Bless You and Yours!" Dorothy Malone... There is a small photo with the inscription..

I am positive-- the guy who is friends with her said she cannot respond to fanmail anymore, and confirmed she has not lived on Livingston in years. I googled the address he said she's at, and it is indeed a nursing facility.

on another website there is a guy who goes and visits her and is friends with her. he said he goes to her 'home/residence in Dallas, Texas'.

Are you sure? Because I found a website with TX address records and it says she lived in a retirement home from 2008-9 and then she moved back in with a Mary Maloney from 2009 onwards registered at the Livingston adress.

Thanks for the update! It helps since I don't want to mail it off if it won't get to her.

Mrs. Malone does not live on Livingston anymore, and hasn't in years. An acquaintance I know on another website knows her personally, and said she lives at an assisted retirement home in Austin-- he periodically visits her. He says that although she loves receiving fanmail from all over the world, she is not able to respond anymore.
