On December 2nd, I wrote to James R. Leavelle who escorted Lee Harvey Oswald through the Dallas Police Department before Jack Ruby shot Oswald. I heard that he doesn't sign many autographs anymore but it was still worth a try. Today, on December 17th, I got a reply from Leavelle; 4 photos signed and personalized. Not only did he personalize it, but he addressed me by my nickname too.
