Letter Received! (Jeffrey DeMunn)

by CURTIS8516 » Thu Jul 25, 2024 11:01 am

I sent a lengthy, hand-written letter to Jeffrey DeMunn, the first piece of fan mail I've ever sent to someone, just letting him know my thoughts on his work etc. (namely The Walking Dead, The Hitcher, The Mist, The Green Mile and so on) and I asked if it were possible to receive an autograph on a simple piece of paper (I didn't think of sending pre-paid postage and all that jazz, as I'm from the U.K. and only wanted to portray my thoughts and compliments on his varying work - an autograph was optional) and a month-odd later, I got a letter through the door with a signed glossy photo and his well-wishings on a piece of card! I'm over the moon. I don't think Jeffrey will see this, but thank you so much. Sadly, I tore the envelope open and it ripped half of the photo, but I was able to trim it neatly with a paper cutter. Next time, I'll be sure to do it the proper way. 23/07/2024.
