Wow, you dug up an old topic! I think that right now $2.80 each way for postage is enough for a ball, but you should check with your post office just to make sure.

How much postage do you use for a ball? If you don't mind me asking. Sweet looking auto's!

Great Will Clark success!

On Jan. 22, 2011, I wrote to one of my all-time favorite players, Will Clark, sending a long hand-written letter, a Bart Giamatti-model Rawlings Official National League Baseball, and a SASE c/o Mr. Clark at the College Baseball Foundation. I had seen other successes online at this address and decided to try it. A couple of months later, I hadn't received a reply, and I grew impatient after seeing other recent successes c/o the San Francisco Giants, so I decided to send another old NL ball along with an identical LOR and another SASE, this time on March 30, 2011, and this time c/o the Giants.

On May 15, 2011, I received two envelopes in the mail. I opened the first one and found this:

Then I opened the other one, and this was in it:

He apparently was going through a few months worth of mail and got to both of my letters on the same day, and may have recognized the identical letters I sent! I love that he not only signed and returned both balls, but the extra little joke that he threw in on the second one is really great! My favorite success since I started collecting again a few months ago - thank you so much Mr. Clark!!!

Addresses used:

Will Clark
c/o College Baseball Foundation
P.O. Box 6507
Lubbock, TX 79493-6507

and

Will Clark
c/o San Francisco Giants
24 Willie Mays Plaza
San Francisco, CA 94107

(On an unrelated note, this is my first post on the board in a couple of months, and I just realized that all of my success posts from January through April of this year are gone. Any idea why???)
