On the 3rd of June I sent a letter to Michael Palin that contained a handwritten letter, IRC's and four pictures. Today (23rd of June) I recieved the reply and Mr. Palin had signed one of the pictures and he dedicated it to me! I also recieved a letter from his secretary (I think), and she wrote that Mr. Palin couldn't write a personal letter himself because of his busy schedule but that he signed one of my pictures with thanks.
I'm a HUGE Monty Python-fan and I'm also a big fan of Michael Palin's travel documentaries so this was a very big deal for me, and I have to admit there was a couple of happy tears.. :P
