Unfortunately, Mr. Griffiths is one of the rudest celebs I have ever dealt with. He is a nasty little man. I have a doozy of a letter from him that is similar to yours. In my case, I did send postage for him and he still complained that he had to go the postal office! And told me that other actors that he works with think he was crazy to answer fan mail. i don't believe that. British actors seem to answer sooner (Keira Knightly is the exception! Ugh! Thinks she's too good for fans!)

In your case, if you go to your local post office they should sell 'international reply coupons'. When mailing out of your country, send 2 with your request. (That is what I send for an 8 x 10 photo. You could probably send only one if you have a smaller photo.)
I don't think you read this correctly. He DID send IRC's to mr griffiths, who got mad about going to the post office to exchange them.

I think the problem here was that the person receiving the angry reply actually had included an IRC and Mr Griffiths wasn't happy about having to get it exchanged at the post office. So in this case sending IRCs didn't help :?

Hello,

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask! I have been doing this for many years and have over 2000 signed photos!

by the way, a pity Mr. Griffiths didn't sign his rude comment, then You have had this autographs anyway!!

Thanks, but since I'm only seventeen I'm by law not allowed to make orders through the internet^^ However, one of my friends will go to the UK soon and I've asked her to purchase me a few stamps^^ Nevertheless, I'm thankful for the tip!
Yeah, I was really bummed when I saw that he'd left his note unsigned xD Oh well..

I always include SASE with my request with the proper postage from the country I'm writing to. It's some sort of respect to make it as easy as possible to the actor to sign.
How do you do that, dani? --> I found out by myself. :P

I would reply back to him and thank him for his letter. Tell him it was far better than a photo of him and his signature.

Hahaha. It would make his blood boil, I am sure.
