Louis Conter Success (U.S.S. Arizona)

by danielchance » Thu Jul 27, 2017 7:27 pm

Hey folks! Today was a rare treat- I got two successes in the mail! First and foremost, I got back from Louis Conter, who was aboard the USS Arizona on December 7, 1941. He was a quartermaster, and his story is one of great bravery. This was the first time in a very long time that I wrote to a historical or military figure, so this is so neat for me! I sent a LOR, SASE, and two photos- a 4x5 of him in his uniform, and a 4x6 of the USS Arizona a week ago to: 596 Eskaton Circle, Grass Valley, CA, 95945
