After getting to see Ennio Morricone live for my birthday in 2018 I felt I should send a hand written letter to Ennio to thank him for inspiring me to become a film composer, which I am. I wrote a letter, got it translated into Italian, bought a poster and included it in the package. I then sent it in April 2019 to the address posted in:

Safe to say that I've not had any reply, my poster has not even been returned despite including sufficient Euros and a return envelope with my address. I am very disappointed as I only wanted to express my gratitude to the Maestro in my own words. Knowing that he has likely not even seen my letter I will feel regret for a long time to come from one composer to another.
A truly sad time when autograph collectors gather up the signatures but a composer's gratitude will never be known. I would highly recommend that anyone who wishes to also contact Ennio not trust this site, address or contact information as it is quite apparent to be wrong.
